Ark Encounter

On Monday we drove down to Kentucky to see the Ark Encounter (about 1.5 hour away).  It was so cool to see the life size replica of the ark.  They also had a mini-zoo area and I also got to ride a camel.  So worth it!

spring vacation, day 1

We left Good Friday and drove to Cincinnati, OH.  The trip was good, but hard at times due to all the rain.  The scenery in WV and VA was absolutely beautiful.  We checked into our hotel, ate dinner and chilled for the evening.  We woke up Saturday debating whether or not to do what we had planned, which was Kings Island.  It was only open on Saturday so either we went or we didn't.  It was still raining a tad bit and temps were only going to get into the mid 40's, but we decided to do it.  We had a great time, although the roller coasters were very cold.  We chilled another night at the hotel Saturday, went to church with my brother on Sunday and then hung out at his house for the day Sunday before our next adventures happened.

Springtime

It's been so busy that I haven't posted for a while.  Jenna had another wedding to do and we enjoyed the reception a lot.  The same weekend she had a cake to do for the school for the National Honor Society.  She has been keeping busy.  She has a new cupcake to do this weekend (just a dozen but a flavor we never heard of). She will also have a couple of graduation parties to do in the next month.
