so I'm still looking for ideas for my new computer corner and my kitchen. I did move the microwave cart out of the kitchen and I'm getting rid of it. I moved my dad's cabinet over by the door. I'm not sure if I want to leave the microwave on top or if I want to move it to my countertop.

Do you use all your counter space? if not, I'd put the microwave there and then have more display space on the case your dad built. it's cute:)
Love your new desk and bookcase! As for microwave placement, I'd go with whatever is most practical for you and your family. If the kids use the microwave, then I'd leave it where they can most easily and neatly access it. If they don't, then whatever makes the cook happy! :)
