A Crazy Good Weekend

Things were good, but crazy this weekend at the McLean household. I left Friday to do errands and such and when I came home the computer was down and the phone had no dial tone. It made for a stressful night because we had to use the cell phone to call the companies. Family night got changed because Jenna wanted to go to the park. We instead played play doh and ate pushups. Things got better on Saturday....our first yard sale, we found a bike for Jacob. The reason we were hoping to find bikes at yard sales is because they would be cheaper then buying replacement training wheels. He was on cloud nine! We found a lot of free stuff and had a great time. When we got home, the phone repairmen was in our driveway. He showed us the problem....our pine tree got hit by lightning (our second tree to get hit). It made the roots come out of the ground, and tore the phone wire in two. I guess that also took down our roadrunner wire too. He said we were lucky that this did not do more damage than what it had done. We got our two vehicles inspected (nothing like waiting to the last minute) and then relaxed and actually went to Logan's for dinner. Wow, what at treat!! We put the kids down and rented a movie. Sunday was nice too. After Sunday night church we went to the high school and walked/ran around the track. The kids took their bikes and had fun.
So, our phones are up, but the cable people won't come back until tomorrow morning to fix the computer. I am at my mom's this morning doing other things, so hopefully, I can blog again tomorrow afternoon!
