Catching up

 Jack and I celebrated 25 years but we are broke so we couldn’t make a trip so we went to the outer banks for the day. We also saw the wild horses and the light house. 

Jenna is doing well at school. She got her culinary clothes this week!

Saying goodbye

 We said goodbye to Jenna. I cried for 45 minutes and again when we got home and several times since. It hasn’t been easy but I have a peace that she is where she is supposed to be. She loves it. Monica made her this beautiful quilt. The back is full or recipes. I must say I am a little jealous of Jenna right now with this beautiful quilt.

Brand new year

 School has started back. I am so tired! Hard to get back in the swing. I have a new classroom. I didn’t go over board like most teachers but it still turned out ok.

Back to school

 Hard to believe I have 2 weeks before school starts back for teachers. I have enjoyed the summer although it has been a tough one. I went in yesterday to do my bulletin boards. I changed to a bigger room so now I have two boards. The “this brew” one will be changed. I was going to write all my students names on a coffee bean or cup but I have to many students so I think I will just do my homeroom. Names will be added once I get the list.

A whirlwind month

It was a crazy May!! So many end of year stuff for a teacher and then I chaperoned Jenna’s senior trip. As soon as we got back it was graduation her graduation party and orientation at BJU. Time please slow down!!!

 

Last day

 Friday was our last full day….we went to Dollywood. It was a lot of fun. Although not as bold as Carowinds they do have some cool coasters. We spent most of the day there… went to dinner and then back to the cabin to the hot tub and other activities.
